Nice place. Very clean. Food was served promptly and they gave customers complimentary pastries. Kudos!

2.5 stars. Pretty much the definition of medicocre.
Pros
- I've never had an issue with the staff. They seem friendly and competent
- They normally get your order right
Cons
- Nothing whatsoever special about the food. I feel like there used to be standouts on the menu but it's now all pretty bland and blah.
- Lines can take a long time and they are working out the kiosks. My kiosk ordering went fine but then it wouldn't take my credit cards. No one offered to help. I finally used the one next to it without issue.
- Really expensive for what you get. You can do much better downtown. For this concept I recommend Silver Ladle down the street. Cheaper and better. -

I'm one of the biggest Panera fans around (got to stay loyal to my first job in high school), and I've been going to this location since it opened (have the coffee tumbler to prove it), but I will likely never return to this store after my last experience.
I decided to go out on a whim and order something besides my typical chicken noodle soup and Bacon Turkey Bravo and ordered the chicken lentil quinoa bowl. When I returned to my office to try a taste, it had a funny/sour taste. I figured that may have been the flavoring in the soup -- until I checked the expiration date on the bowl. Used by 11/15. It was 11/20.
Figuring I'd get at least a verbal apology, I walked one block back to the store to return the bowl for another item. I was told by the café counter workers that I could get another bowl. To avoid the situation happening again, I asked if I could order something else (back to my original chicken noodle and BTB sandwich). They obliged but offered no apology or refund. I was tempted to demand the difference in cost back on my card, but didn't feel like explaining the situation to the cashier, so I just let it go. Here's hoping I don't get sick off an expired chicken noddle soup... -

Update 8/26/2019: I thought they finally got my order right! Wrong - they gave me a different soup. It's like you place an order and they just give you whatever they want. AND they cross off each thing on your receipt like "Yup, we added that."

I love Panera even though it's really overpriced. I think it's the bread... I love their bread.
However this Panera in particular never gets my order right. I like to do rapid pick-up so I can pick it up and take it back to my office. I have ordered from here maybe 10 times since I have worked downtown and I don't think my order has been totally right even one time. If you're going to order rapid pick-up from here you better check your order. I have gotten back to the office with a totally different sandwich that I coul -

I get the negative reviews on this place but my experience wasn't the WORST per say.
My order for pick up wasn't ready on time and when it was finally brought out the team member remembered that she forgot my water...all fine.
The problem came when she disappeared for a good amount of time, and then resurfaced, bringing other orders out to the pick up area but no water for me. She then looked at me and asked me what I was waiting on.
Would I go back? Hard to say since there are so many other good options around but the food itself was fine.
